Kelly Window Systems was founded in 1982 as a family owned and operated business. Our story began as a construction management group that was founded in 1959 by Pasquale Giugliano. Giugliano and his five sons Frank, Pat, Bill, Carl, and Angelo started and operated F&F Products, offering construction management, roofing, siding, and window installation. After years of installing windows on various jobs, Carl Giugliano formed Kelly Windows System, Inc. Carl noticed an unfortunate decline in the craftsmanship of the windows and doors F&F Products were installing for their clients from other manufacturers.
Carl did not want to be forced to use such poor craftsmanship and recognized a definite need to assure they were offering quality windows and doors. So in 1982 Carl decided it was time to design and make their own windows. This gave them full control over all aspects of the product and assured 100% customer satisfaction with every order.
My Dad turned me on to Kelly Windows after I told him the price I was quoted from Home Depot for a “special order window.” Mind you there was nothing special about the size of the windows that I was looking for. They simply were out of stock. Hence, special order. Anyway, my Dad used Kelly at least 20 years ago and his windows were still going strong up until my parents moving four years ago. The price quote for 5 windows was just about what Home Depot wanted for 1 Andersen. The quality is second to none. The customer service is great. I simply can not say enough good things about this company. It was worth my drive from up near West Point to Farmingdale. Thanks again Kelly Windows.
We have used Kelly windows in both of our houses and have absolutely nothing negative to say about the experience or quality. Very fair deal, probably fairest available on Long Island for a quality product.
Had a positive experience updating a window that was leaking whenever it rained. Working with Frank and his team was great - will update if there’s any else we find later one.
I’m very surprised at some of the reviews here as I cannot speak to the same. Kelly installed 14 windows and a full 3 panel slider at my home. The windows are ok but every year one or two of the windows begin to have this pixelated rainbow of colors in the outside glass. I clean my windows regularly with any chemicals both inside and out. I call the company since the glass has a lifetime warranty and sure they come out and want to charge me to replace the inferior product they installed. They will tell you it’s a special installation charge. It’s there inferior materials used and the warranty does nothing. My slider is never been tight nor sturdy with screws that cannot be tightened since they strip instantly. I live in a private community and there are 32 homes that will be looking to replace their windows. I already spoke to management company and informed them of the issues with Kelly once I saw them on the list. Management assured me that chances are they will not receive an opportunity to bid on the project. I should have used Tri-State ( I’m aware of 6 homes that used them and are quite happy and the windows are the same age as mine with any issue ever) or Anderson Renewal and spent the extra money. There are many companies out there so do your homework prior as this is a measurable investment. Like they say you get what you pay for. I will post photos soon.
Cheaply made windows. Very difficult to lock unless you have superhuman strength. Unfinished metal corners of the frame make it dangerous to wipe clean as you can cut your hand/fingers very easily on one of the edges. Windows break frequently (don’t stay up) and they only have one repair man and long wait time (months) if they have to order parts. Terrible company.
